(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial repair prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; prop osals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) W912CZ-05-T-0016. (iv) This acquisition will be full and open competition, due to the amount of repair shops in the local area. It is restricted to Alaska, due to the fact that the item must be tr ansported for repair. The applicable NAICS is 333618. (v) The Contractor shall perform or provide the following items: CLIN 0001 Transportation of D7F Dozer from the following address: Directorate of Logistics, Central Receiving Point POC: Bill Pugh, Building 601, Bay 5, Fort Greely, AK 99731, to the awardees location. And return it back after the job is complete. The Dozer blade and C-Frame will be removed by the customer prior to loading the machine on the transport vehicle. CLIN 0002 Remove engine, recondition, dynamometer test and re-install. Remove and boil/inspect radiator. CLIN 0003 Cost of parts for engine recondition, dynamometer test and installation. Also parts needed for boiling and inspecting of radiator. CLIN 0004 Labor to remove engine, recondition, dynamometer testing and install. Labor for removal and boil/inspect radiator. CLIN 0005 Parts for the recondition of the torque converter. CLIN 0006 Labor for recondition of the torque converter. CLIN 0007 Waste Disposal Fee for Recondition of engine. CLIN 0008 Miscellaneous Materials and supplies required for the recondition.
