The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-priced contract with Vericor Power Systems, LLC, 3625 Brookside Parkway, Suite 500, Alpharetta, GA 30022-3717 for the manufacture, testing and delivery of sixteen (16) ETF40B marine gas turbine engines for the fiscal year 2012 (FY 2012) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) requirements, and repair and refurbishment of Government Furnished Material (GFM) Output Group Modules (OGM) to be incorporated in the engines. The contract will include options for up to sixteen (16) ETF40B engine systems for FY 2013 and up to an additional sixteen (16) ETF40B engine systems for FY 2014 requirements, along with corresponding repair and refurbishment of GFM OGMs. Only Vericor Power Systems LLC has the necessary data, facilities and personnel to manufacture, test and deliver the ETF40B marine gas turbine engines for the LCAC SLEP in the required timeframe.
