The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-priced contract with Vericor Power Systems, LLC, 3625 Brookside Parkway, Suite 500, Alpharetta, GA 30022-3717 for the manufacture, testing and delivery of twelve (12) ETF40B marine gas turbine engines for the fiscal year 2010 (FY 2010) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) requirements. The contract will also include options for two (2) spare engines in FY 2010, options for up to sixteen (16) ETF40B engine systems and one (1) spare engine for FY 2011 LCAC SLEP and repair and refurbishment of Government Furnished Material (GFM) Output Group Modules. Only Vericor Power Systems LLC has the necessary data, facilities and personnel to manufacture, test and deliver the ETF40B marine gas turbine engines for the LCAC SLEP in the required timeframe.
