NA CLIN 0001: Furnish and Install (including design and fabrication) an Integral Quench Furnace capable of carburizing and heat-treating various parts to support Anniston Army Depot remanufacturing projects. This specification intends to limit to only thos e manufacturer commercially available integral quench furnace systems for carburizing and heat treating. The system shall be new, and of the contractor's latest proven model and design. This proposal is to include a total and complete turnkey installatio n and start up, including cost of equipment, shipping, installation, accessories and training. Installation and Training will be identified separately. The equipment shall be sized to accommodate a standard load of size 24 inches x 36 inches x 24 inches. The furnace shall be capable of maintaining a charge of not less than 800 net pounds at 1750 degrees Fahrenheit. This furnace is for Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL, and PERFORMANCE is to be completed within 240 calendar days after award. FOB Destinat ion will apply.
