Shaw AREVA MOX Services is pleased to announce a Special Vendor Conference for prospective firms who are qualified to perform special machine shop fabrication, stainless steel fabrication, high precision metal fabrication, fabrication of gloveboxes, hoods and process enclosures, robotics, automated manufacturing systems, instrumentation and controls. Your skills are needed to fabricate the glovebox enclosure structures, sub-assemblies, process equipment, electrical and mechanical components for the Department of Energy Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) Project being constructed at this time near Aiken, SC. The purpose of this conference is to inform you of the MOX Projects plan to proceed with solicitations for fabrication services this winter. Presentations will include an overview of the project, technical presentations concerning glovebox and process equipment design, Quality, the solicitation process, and the contract terms and conditions.
