The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure a Sheet Separator, Part Number M8435002, from KBA-Giori of Lausanne, Switzerland. The Sheet Separator is part of the Simultan Currency Press, Number 64401402. KBA-Giori is the original equipment manufacturer of the Simultan Currency Press used at the BEP for the production of United States currency. This procurement action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 13.106-1. See numbered note 22. The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified purchase threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used. The point of contact for this procurement is Mr. Frank B.
