The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 22G (NCO 22G) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL 3D LED UV Benchtop Printer, accessories, and on-site installation and training to local users. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL 3D UV LED printer comparable with the Direct Jet 1800BG Flatbed Printer manufactured by Direct Color Systems. The printer must meet the following salient characteristics: The printer must be able to print textured 3D prints that produces ADA-compliant/Braille signage. The printer must provide a printable area of 10 x 24 that prints on wood, metals, ceramic tiles, plastics, glass, industrial parts and acrylics. The printer must be able to perform inline printing and print any combination of white, color and clear print head channels simultaneously, inline, and in a single pass. The printer must use UV LED ink that offers solvent and abrasion durability for a 6-color ink set including clear and white. The printer must use at least an on-demand inkjet 8-channel head with a capability of 180 nozzles/inch/channel. The printer must be able to print uni-and bi-directional. The printer must withhold a substrate weight of 10lbs The printer must have the means to use refillable ink cartridge tanks. The printer must use a color LCD touch screen display control panel. The printer must use an operating system that is Windows 10 (32 & 64 bit) compliant with an included ADA software module. The printer must have a front cover that is removable for service accessibility. The printer must include the following accessories: A vacuum table (110V) A capping station Bulk ink system bottle refill kit Minimum of 200 ml bottles of UV-LED Ink in the following colors: Black, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Clear Minimum of 500 ml bottle of White UV-LED Ink Minimum of 200 ml of UV-LED low odor adhesion promoter Minimum of 150 ml of monomer flush solution UV tool and maintenance kits to support the equipment. The printer and accessories purchase must include installation and training to be provided to the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System Signage Personnel by the manufacturer after the equipment is received on-station. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the Government. An award will not be made on any offers submitted in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided.
