This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of large and small businesses able to meet the requirements listed below. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking sources to provide one (1) new leaf vac machine (turf sweeper) for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center located at 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037. The turf sweeper being sought is a Toro Versa-Vac with hand-held hose attachment and rubber finger deck, or alternate brand equivalent to this Toro model. Toro part numbers are as follows: Versa-Vac #07053 Hand-Held Hose #07080 Rubber Finger Deck #07081 Alternate brand turf sweepers must meet the following requirements: Minimum hopper volume of 6.5 cubic yards Dump hopper hydraulically by one control Self-opening and closing hopper door Vented roof sections with dust hoods to direct dust away from operator Turf tires Belt drive from input shaft to impeller shaft Hardened, straight steel flails with adjustable spacing 540 PTO drive Required PTO hp shall be no more than 35 hp OEM must have a servicing dealer located no more than 75 miles from the Battle Creek VA Medical Center Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center Contractors that are interested in meeting this requirement are asked to submit the following information: Specifications/product information for the proposed turf sweeper (if other than the Toro brand) Current estimated delivery timeframe Additional information: All contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov.
