Description & Salient Characteristics

BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to: Sweep Star 60 Quad Sweeper is a self-contained, four-wheel, front mounted engine lawn sweeper.

The Sweeper shall have the following features/characteristics:

• A sweeper head width of 55” to 60” with rubber finger sweep reel configuration with adjustable height control.
• A debris hopper capacity of at least three (3) cubic yards
• Dumper able to dump at a height of at least seventy-four (74) inches to ensure debris can be deposited into the currently used receptacles. 
• A 30-35 hp gasoline powered engine.  
• High-capacity airflow openings at top and rear
• Hydrostatic variable speed pump
• Rear mounted heavy-duty high efficiency hydraulic drive motors. Dual forward/reverse pedal.
• Not to exceed speed of 12mph forward and no more than 4mph in reverse
• A manually operated, disc type parking brake on rear wheels
• Hydraulic power steering with no more than a six (6) feet inside turning circle
• Prefer Rocker switches vice Toggle switches to lift and lower debris hopper, to open and close the debris-hopper tailgate and to raise and lower of sweeping mechanism head assembly, and to operate headlights
• A dual forward/reverse pedal and hand-operated throttle control
• Ergonomically adjustable high back suspension seat with arm rests
• Electronic key start
• 55” to 60" bristle brush head of four (4) rows of 5" bristles
• A dust & dirt filtration kit
• Must have wide turf type tires
• Sound levels of equal to or less than 86 dBA at ear level, at three (3) feet distance a decibel rating of no more than 88 dBA, and no more than 76 dBA at thirty (30) feet
•  Hydraulic system oil: 25 gallons steel tank
• Operator seat belts
• Hydraulic lines must be abrasion and leak resistant tubes
• Carb-Compliant Gas Tank
• Fire extinguisher
• Must complies with all applicable ANSI and OSHA machinery directive standards
