The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center has an established requirement for a forklift/platform lift. Lift must be transformable from a minimum 6600 lb. forklift to a minimum 2000 lb. basket lift. Basket must hold two people safely. 4-wheel drive. Rough terrain tires. Frame leveling. Standard 48” carriage. Lift height 42. 2” x 4” x 4’ forks. Must be able to operate the equipment from either the basket or the cab. Cab-only operations is not acceptable. One known manufacturer and model is the JBL TF6-42. Other manufacturers and model numbers may be quoted provided the item meets the specifications. Quotes must include sufficient information to evaluate the quoted equipment.
