Due to being the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owns the proprietary technical data, the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), Corpus Christi, Texas intends to award a sole source commercial contract to Dematic Corporation, 507 Plymouth Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505-6029, under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.501(a)(1)(ii), prepare sole source (including brand name) justifications. This acquisition is to provide Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Maintenance Support which includes complete system preventative maintenance and emergency repairs of the ASRS located at CCAD, Corpus Christi, Texas.

This special notice is not a request for proposals or quotations, no solicitation package will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this requirement. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government.
