This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is F3B3C15067A100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-14. This acquisition is unrestricted. The U.S. Air Force 48th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for: CLIN 0001: A Converyor Belt system to be used at the Post Office at RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk. Minimum requirements must include Telescopic Travel â 15,250mm, Closed Length â 5,850mm, Overall length â 21,100mm, Height from floor to top of belt â 955mm, Belt width â 600mm, Belt type â Smooth top 2 ply PVC, Belt speed- 30m/min, Belt direction â Reversible, Loading â 50KG/M, Drive Unit position â External, Power Supply â 400v-3ph-50Hz. Controls â Push button controls mounted on the front of the telescopic boom. Emergency stop to halt all functions fitted to the front of the telescopic boom and both sides of the fixed main boom, Control Voltage â 24 volts AC. Motorised hydraulic height adjustment to allow the booms to be raised and lowered by push buttons mounted on the forward end of the machine, with hinge point at the top corner of MTC body plus 510mm (20â) stroke rams. Light â Low voltage Twin halogen light arrangement fitted to the front end of the machine. Safety bar fitted to the end of the telescopic boom. Extra push button controls located on the main boom for belt â âForward/reverse/stopâ, telescopic boom â in/outâ and motorised hydraulics âup/downâ. Impact absorbing plate fitted to the end of the telescopic boom under the MTC belt with four rubberised suspension units. Installation and delivery. Delivery date for all items: As this piece of equipment is needed for a new facility to be opened on 6th June, the equipment must be installed no later than 27th May, the successful vendor must also be able to dispose of the old equipment, ideally reimbursable against the new machinery.
