The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Northeast Area (NEA) Area Administrative Office intends to award a sole source procurement to:

Ortery Technologies, Inc.

to provide a 3D PhotoBench 280 for the USDA, ARS, facilities in Beltsville, MD

The contractor is the sole manufacturer and authorized distributor of the required equipment.

Prusuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), and /or FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Iill Satisfy Agency Requirements.  The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on or about September 10, 2020.  This Notice of Intent is not considered a Request for Quotatoin (RFQ).  No solicitation documetn is available and telephone requests will not be honored.

This notice is not request for quotes; however, any firm believing that they can meet or exceed the attached specifications of this requirement may be considered by the agency.  Intereseted parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet or exceed the required specifications in response to this notice.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.  The Government will condiser all responses received by 3:00 p. m. Central Time, September 10, 2020.  Responses will only be accepted via email.
