The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis this requirement, in accordance with FAR 12 and 13. This requirement is a manufacturer sole source requirement to Stratasys, Inc., 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 due to unique capability. These are proprietary products to Stratasys machines and and can only be used so that the machine functions properly. The solicitation with specifications will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 5/10/2018. All responsible sources shall be considered by the agency. Written responses shall be submitted by email to [email protected] or mailed to Commander, NAWCWPNS, Code 254620D, Attn: Susan Wigfield, 429 East Bowen Road, Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108 no later than 10 days from this notice date. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the item without causing programmatic hardship. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
