PUBLIC NOTICE Sealed Bids for 3rd Street Road Repair, Camp Minden, Minden, LA 71055 will be received at Building A-100, Rm 113, 100 Louisiana Blvd, Camp Minden, Minden, Louisiana 71055, until 2:00 P.M. CDT on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, and immediately opened thereafter. Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained from Camp Minden Training Site, 100 Louisiana Blvd., Bolin Hall, Rm 113, Minden, LA, 71055. A mandatory Pre-Bid conference and site visit is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. CDT on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Building A-100 Room 120 (Conference Room), Camp Minden, Minden, LA. Attendance at this Conference is required. Prospective bidders must attend the Pre-Bid conference in order to submit a bid. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and Additional Bid Items (ABI) and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier?s check or bid bond. Bidders planning on attending the mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting must possess the following License Classification: HIGHWAY, STREET AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana, equal to 100% of the Contract amount, including Additional Bid Items (ABI), if required. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of Bids.
