The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. The rope must meet NDBC Procedure 1154 Rev. B dated 06/13/2001. There are two sizes of rope for this procurement. The first line item is for 1-3/4 inch diameter 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. The quantity is 10,000 ft with options to purchase an additional 20,000 ft. The second line item is for 1-1/8 inch diameter 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. The quantity is 25,000 ft with an option to purchase an additional 27,000 ft. Rope shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to shipment of rope. This solicitation is set aside for small business, see Note 1.
