The company must have experience and capabilities to engineer and design cryogenic distribution components and systems for a superfluid helium service from written specification. The company must be capable to generate fabrication and assembly drawings, construct, and test cryogenic components, including helium mass spec leak check and pressure tests. Engineering staff of the company must have the background necessary to perform advanced stress calculations, thermal analyses, and flow calculations. Technical staff of the company must have strong working background with boiler pressure vessels, pressure piping, machine shop practice and tooling, Computer Aided Design, welding process as related to cryogenic piping and pressure vessels, precision structure fabrication, and general fabrication techniques forcryogenic components.
The company offering the cryogenic distribution system (the end cap) must have produced a similar device in a past and be able to supply references upon request.
