This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside. Therefore, any responsible source may submit an quote. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M62613-14-T-0057 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after August 11, 2014. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The FSC code is 4240 and the NAICS code is 339113. This procurement is justified BRAND NAME ONLY so as to be fully compatible with SCBAs currently owned and operated by MCAS Iwakuni Fire Department. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows; ITEM NO 0001: Air-Pak X3 SCBA ITEM NO 0002: Shipping (if applicable) The Government intends to issue an award to the responsible quoter whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Capability and Price. It is the quoter’s responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government in order to determine acceptability of the quoted services. Quoters are instructed to completely fill out the attached “coversheet� and submit “Vender Information� and return them along with your quote. Failure to provide the required information and attachment may result in your quote being considered non-responsive by the Government.The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition.
