The HF Water Distribution System consists of three major subsystems: IWD, SRS and Loop Subsystem. The IWDS is intended for initial set up of HF camp. It is similar to HEWDS but does not include the source run. SRS provides the water source run for HF camp. Loop subsystem is added to the HF camp if extended operation is anticipated. Each HF subsystem and HEWDS consists of a collection of component parts and assemblies that are used to construct raw water, potable water and waste water distribution systems that can be configured to meet varying operating requirements of a BEAR Base. The HF Water Distribution System has been sized in 1100 person increments and HEWDS is sized for a camp of 550 personnel. The HF Water Distribution System is also used to support industrial and flight line operations. Water purification equipment (ROWPU), 250 gpm water pumps, and 20k gallon water bladders required for operation of water system are not provided with these water systems..
