The 177th Fighter Wing intends to sole source of the Upgrade and extended service on the Bridgeport Series II Prototrak Milling Machine to Southwestern Industries, 2615 Homestead Place Ranch Dominguez, CA 90220. This will be a follow-on contract to extend the warranty already provided by Southwestern Industries.

This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source. Awarding to another vendor will result in a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.

All qualified sources must respond not later than Noon, EST, Thursday, 03 September 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
