SOURCES SOUGHT FOR FUJI-BRAND (OR EQUAL) POLICE BICYCLES

1. The JBSA-Randolph Contracting Squadron, 502 CONS/JBKCA, is contemplating the acquisition of eight (8) each Fuji-brand police bicycles, Model No. Police Special 29 (OR EQUAL).

2. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this acquisition is 336991 - Bicycles and parts manufacturing with a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested firms are encouraged to recommend a more appropriate NAICS in their submission; however, include the rationale for the alternate selection.

3. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES; therefore, in accordance with FAR 15.201(c) any responses to this inquiry will not constitute nor will be considered as contractor offers, and no contract will be awarded as a result of this inquiry. This information will be used by the 502 CONS/JBKCA for market research purposes, only, and the submitted information will not be returned.
