The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Fatigue Technology Inc. for the following A-10 tooling: 1 each Puller/hand Pump, p/n: HOA-6L; 1 each Adapter, LBOA 5/16 thd Pintail, p/n: 5130-003; 1 each Reamer, no pilot, p/n: PSR-829-10010-C; 1 each Reamer, Finish, p/n: FSR-829-10010-C; 1 each Double end gage, p/n: FCG-829-65010-B; each Gage, mandrel check, p/n: FMG-829-30010-A; 1 each Mandrel pintail, p/n: FMM-829-25010-A; One each Jaw, HOA restricted, p/n: FMJ-829-55010-B; 500 each Bushing, straight, p/n: FMB-829-45010-B and 500 each Bushing, straight, p/n: FMB-829-45011-B. Fatigue Technology Inc. is the only source who can supply the required items. Conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firms ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to RFQ number FA4877-08-Q0243 by 26 March 2008, 3:00 pm MST. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
