MARY BRINKLEY'S/ARCS CONTACT INFORMATION IS IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITATION****** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for (5) five SPECTRACOM MODEL GSG-L1 PSEUDOLITE units. NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Spectracom. The Spectracom Model GSG-L1 Pseudolite is a unique product that sends out RG signal GPS L1 (1575.42 MHz, 50 bps (GPS) or 250 bps (SBAS)) in a portable box of size (5.5x5.5x2.8). The functionalities and size of the Spectracom Model GSG-L1 Pseudolite are the only ones that meet the Governments requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on February 18, 2013. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
