UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive Request for Proposal basis. The contract award resulting from this solicitation will be a firm fixed price, requirement type of contract for delivery of abrasive products. The solicitation number assigned for this procurement is FN1222-05-6200003626. A written copy of this solicitation may be downloaded from the UNICOR website at www.unicor.gov/procurement/. Abrasive is to be delivered F.O.B. destination FCI Sheridan, 27072 Ballston Rd., Sheridan OR 97328. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate proposals on an All or None basis. Proposal Samples are required (see solicitation). The period of performance is date of award through five years. Delivery acceptance is 30 calendar for the first initial delivery and 14 calendar days thereafter receipt of each delivery order. An economic price adjustment provision will be included in this solicitation under Section H. See Information to Offerors under Section A, of the solicitation. The initial proposal should contain the offerors best terms from past performance, specification, cost or price and other factors specified in this solicitation. The time for receipt of initial proposals is 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time), on March 8, 2005. Vendors may submit a signed and dated proposal by Federal Express, facsimile, hand carried or mail the proposal to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., Office Furniture Group, 320 1st Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20534, Attn.: Bid Custodian. All proposals must reference the solicitation number and due date for receipt of proposals. In addition to this, each proposal must contain the name, address, telephone number of offeror, and description of items offered, and the remittance address (if different from the current mailing address). Offeror must hold unit prices firm in its offer for 90 calendar days from date specified for receipt of offers. If an offer is not submitted on an SF33 or SF1449 than offerors are to submit on a company letterhead with a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions included in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect price and other factors with the offerors at anytime prior to award. All offers that fail to furnish required representations and certifications or information and/or reject terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
