The closing date of this solicitation is extended to Feb 13, 2002, Noon MDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), solicitation number F05611-02-T-0029, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This requirement is a HUBZone set aside. CLIN 0001: Padlocks, Combination, 1 and three quarter inch case with case hardened steel shackle. Laminated steel body. Angle locking resists prying. Four digit changeable combination with 10,000 possible combinations. American Lock RS440CC or equal. LINE ITEM 0001: Quantity: 7,000 each, Unit Price: $__________. Total Amount: ________. Packaging and marking requirements: Unit pack of one each per card.Delivery requirement: FOB for this RFQ is Destination, USAF Academy, Colorado 80840. Indicate lead time for delivery after receipt of order. 52.209-4 -- First Article Approval -- Government Testing (Sep 1989) 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The clause at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items with the following addenda applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-1(f) In addition, quotes may be faxed to Operational Contracting Office, 719-333-4404 ATTN: Mike Slocum. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible offeror with the lowest price most technically acceptable offer, those offers that meet or exceed technical acceptability standards.
