UNICOR intends to enter into a five year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Hinges for FCC Allenwood, PA, FCI Sheridan, OR, FCI Forrest City, AR, FCI Texarkana, TX and FCI Lompoc, CA. Solicitation number is FN1163-03 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). Specifications will be available in solicitation document. Delivery is 30 days for initial delivery order and 21 days after receipt of each subsequent delivery order. The minimum delivery order quantity for Allenwood is 50 each, Maximum delivery order quantity for Allenwood is 3000 each and the combination delivery order quantity for Allenwood is 6,000 each. The minimum delivery order quantity for Sheridan is 500 each, Maximum delivery order quantity for Sheridan is 2,000 each and the combination delivery order quantity for Sheridan is 1,000 each. The minimum delivery order quantity for Forrest City 500 each, Maximum delivery order quantity for Forrest City is 20,500 each and the combination delivery order quantity for Forrest City is 41,000 each. The minimum delivery order quantity for Texarkana is 100 each, Maximum delivery order quantity for Texarkana is 2,500 each and the combination delivery order quantity for Texarkana 25,000 each. The minimum delivery order quantity for Lompoc is 100 each, Maximum delivery order quantity for Lompoc is 2,500 each and the combination delivery order quantity for Lompoc is 25,000 each. Offerors are required to provide one sample of each hinge to Tee Cavanaugh at 320 First Street NW, 7th Floor, 400 Building, Washington, DC 20534. Samples must be received by the offer closing date and time for offer to be considered for award. Offerors who have previously been approved by UNICOR need not submit samples for this requirement. Samples sent shall contain the solicitation number and UNICOR stock number for each hinge as provided in solicitation document. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none per factory location. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to the Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items.Offerors who have not done business with UNICOR shall complete the ACH form which can be found on UNICOR’s webpage. Fax proposals are accepted at 202-353-7794, Attn: Bid Custodian, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. Original proposal must be received within two (2) days of submitting fax proposal. All offerors must acknowledgment all amendments. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Past Performance, Specification, and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
