The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Model KGR-135A Key Generator Receiver, part number 33040010-501 (Quantity - 7 each). This requirement is sole sourced to L-3 Communications Corporation, 1515 Grundy's Lane, Bristro, PA 19007-1506, due to capability with existing equipment. The Model KGR-135A is the recognized replacement for KG-66 and KG-68 and there are no known alternatives for replacement or augmentation of the retiring KG-66 and KG-68 equipment. Any firms believing that they can provide the equipment may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office by the response date. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship.
