DESCRIPTION: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 with ABAQUS East, LLC the renewal of software license services software NIST currently owns. Based on market research conducted, software license renewal may only be obtained directly from ABAQUS East, LLC, 300 Centerville Road, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 028860201. The ABAQUS software license renewal must be 100% compatible with the existing ABAQUS software program. The contract line item numbers (CLIN) and requirements are as follows: CLIN 0001: Quantity of 10 Analysis Tokens, Allow two (2), single-CPU executions of ABAQUS/Standard and/or ABAQUS Explicit and access to ABAQUS Design. CLIN 0002: Quantity of 2, Seats of ABAQUS/CAE, Pre/post software; 1st seat included at no charge with 1st 5 tokens. (CLIN 0001). A Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order is anticipated to be issued to ABAQUS East, LLC for software renewal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all quotations received within 5 days after date of publications of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
