The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking sources capable of providing chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or electrodeposition (ED). These services will be utilized to place a uniform layer of copper on a piece of polycarbonate. Interested potential suppliers should submit a estimate detailing their proposed supply options. Sources are sought for potential suppliers to present supply options for the Government to review. Suppliers wishing to participate in this requirement must submit an estimate to Karen Tindley @
[email protected] IHDIV, NSWC by 07 July 2008, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. These White Papers should detail the following elements: (a) the basic technical specifications, (b) the suppliers recommended storage/shipping conditions, (c) the suppliers delivery schedule, (d) the suppliers cost estimate.
All estimates submitted under this request shall be considered Government property and treated as Competition Sensitive materials. If a contract is pursued in the future, the Government may select to negotiate for unlimited data rights for specification details. After a complete review of the estimates submitted under this request, the Government may choose to solicit contract proposals in July 2008. The estimates should be limited to not longer than three (3) pages and should highlight the following elements: (1) technical and administrative points of contact, (2) technical summary of chemical specification, (3) recommended chemical storage (4) recommended chemical shipment (5) delivery schedule, (6) cost estimate.
