The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a need to modify the second set of main unit stoplogs in Grand Coulee, Washington 99133 in accordance with Specifications.
General Scope of Work:
1. Preparing required submittals
2. Picking up existing stoplogs and transporting them to a fabrication facility
3. Dis-assembly of existing stoplogs, as necessary for modifications
4. Demolition of portions of existing steel stoplogs
5. Fabricating steel components
6. Furnishing commercially available items including coil springs
7. Weld inspection
8. Shop testing
9. Coating
10. Re-assembly
11. Delivery
This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 332312: Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The product service code is 5450 - Miscellaneous Prefabricated Structures.
Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1724Q0011, (written) is approximately the first week in January 2024. The anticipated closing date is the first week in February. The anticipated award date is the last week in February, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site.
This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
