UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive from potential suppliers who can supply plywood and veneer wood products. This will be completed under a Request for Proposal, negotiated, requirement type of solicitation. This product is to be delivered FOB destination to FCC Allenwood, Golf Course Road, Montgomery, PA 17752. The SOL Number is FN1220-05. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate proposals and award on a all or none basis. Individual line items, the description, the estimated quantities and the unit of issue of items being solicited will be identified in the solicitation. Economic Price Provision will be included in the solicitation. All products will escalate in accordance with the Random Lengths. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government in past performance, specification, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: past performance, quality and price. The time for receipt of proposals is 14:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time), onFebruary 25, 2005. The delivery performance period is for 5 years. The first initial delivery order is 30 days, all other deliveries thereafter is 14 days after receipt of each delivery order. Vendors may federal express, mailed, facsimile or hand carried proposal to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., (FPI), Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street, NW, Washington, DC 20534, Attn: Bid Custodian. All proposal must reference the solicitation number and due date for receipt of proposals. In addition to this, each proposal must contained the name, address, telephone number of offeror, technical description of item offered, any discount terms that are offered and the remittance address (if different from current mailing address). Offeror must hold unit prices firm in its offer for 90 calendar days from date specified for receipt. If offer is not submitted on a SF1449, submit on company letterhead with a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provision included in the solicitation. All offers that fail to furnish required representations and certification or information and/or reject terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
