Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the City of Hays, Kansas, at 1507 Main Street at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, until 3:00 PM, December 20th, 2022 for the construction of the 55th and 58th Street Utility Extensions, COH Project No. 2021-38. This project consists of: 905 feet of 10” waterline along 55th Street east of 230th Avenue; 20 feet of 10” waterline along 230th Avenue from 58th Street to the North; 865 feet of 2” waterline along 58th Street from 230th Avenue to the East; 105 feet of 1” water service line. In addition, this project includes the installation of 1 new fire hydrant setting and 1 water meter setting that is located on 55th Street. The project will also include 850 feet of 8” sanitary sewer line along 55th Street east of 230th Avenue; 30 feet of 6” sanitary sewer service lines to service each tract along 55th Street; 2 sanitary sewer manholes along 55th Street.
