This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additonal information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia has a potential requirement to procure the following: 550 SQFT, Polyurea over existing rubber, 2980 SQFT, Polyurea over existing rubber. Reuse existing rubber mats on floor, then, prime rubber using epoxy as recommended by manufacturer for surface preparation. Connect all rubber mat seams using urethane caulk. Apply 25-30 Mils polyurea elastomer, finish topcoat by texturing to provide a slight non-skid surface. Companies bidding on quote need to provide sample of existing rubber, free of charge. To facilitate ballistic testing. Supplier needs to provide ten (10) repair kits so that command can patch damaged areas. Note possiblity of lead impregnated materials in work environment. This Request for Quote (RFQ) H92244-05-Q-0029 is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Submit written offers; oral orders will not be accepted. This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27 effective 28 December 2004. North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 33299 applies to this procurement. Required Delivery Date: 30 days from receipt of order. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO. This procurement is a small business set aside. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government based on price.
