This is a notice of intent to issue an order to Automated Business Power, LLC DBA ABP, 7611 Rickenbacker Dr J, Gaithersburg, MD, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The proposed procurement is for radio communication equipment and accessories consisting of 40 Watt, 30-512 MHz, Shock mounted vehicle adapter kits for AN/PRC-148 MBITR Radio with uninterruptible AC/DC; Foldable X wing SATCOM on the move high gain antennas (SATCOM and LOS) with 200w CW connectors, N female (high angle) and TNC female (low angle); Antenna mounts, steel finished in military green, as an accessory to the 30-512 broadband whip antenna ; and 30-512 MHz Broadband whip antennas (fixed mount). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a compe titive procurement. ABP is the manufacturer and sole provider of their proprietary components. These components and associated products are unique in the industry and are used throughout the U.S. Army for TACSAT on the move, as well as FM communications for small units operations.
