MULE DEER MONITORING: The Bureau of Land Management, Cheyenne, Wyoming, intends to award on a sole source basis with Lotek Wireless, Inc., Newmarket, Ontario. The contractor will be providing collars and services that entitle the BLM to access data from collars being placed on selected mule deer in the Bates Hole Area. Lotek Wireless has been the provider of the mule deer collars and data service package for the past several years and are integral to the success of the Wyoming BLM mule deer initiative study to document mule deer migration, seasonal habitat selection verification efforts. No solicitation package will be available. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted no later than August 30, 2016. The North American Industry Classification for this procurement is 517410 with a size standard of $32.5 Million.
