This is a sources sought announcement that includes a site investigation. A solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The North Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for Cable Television Services on Ft Belvoir for the Ft Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) and outlying buildings (B710/5 drops, B808/10 drops, B815/20 drops, B1259/20 drops, B1260/20 drops, and B1414/5 drops). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517110 (Size Standard: 4,200 in number of employees). The Government contemplates awarding a firm-fixed contract for one year with two options.
The contractor shall furnish service connected to the existing FBCH and outlying buildings infrastructure. FBCH has one (1) internet drop and 420 drops in FBCH and 80 drops for outlying buildings. The contractor will be responsible for providing additional drops in the future if needed for FBCH and any of its outlying buildings. If additional drops are needed, payment will be adjusted by modification to reflect an increase. The contractor must be able to provide 24/7 maintenance services at no additional cost. The contractor will ensure that all licenses and agreements which are necessary to provide these programming services are obtained prior to providing services.
This Market Research Survey is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
A site investigation will be conducted on Wednesday May 15, 2013 from 9:30 am - 11:30 pm. All vendors will meet at Bldg 1414 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Parking is available in a nearby parking lot. Transportation to all locations will be by shuttle bus provided by the base. The total number of personnel attending site investigation will be limited to 2 representatives per company due to bus capacity. Request that each vendor send an email with total number of personnel attending the site investigation.
