The government plans to purchase equipment to complete the upgrade of the radios in several U-2 Chase Cars. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract (FFP) and delivery will be to Beale AFB, CA. Parts include; (30) Radio Transceiver URC 200, (17) 12 Volt Power Supply UDD-100A, (17) Amplified Speaker PTSH-104, (7) Microphone PTMP-150, (17) Cable Assembly URE-U-A10-20-5, and (26) Antenna Kit UVU-110S. The suggested manufacturer is General Dynamics Decision Systems. Only bids for items that are equal to the specifications and provide the same or equal capability will be accepted. This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns and is under NAICS 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. In addition, this solicitation will use competitive Request for Quotation procedures and will only be available by downloading from the EPS web site. Bids are due tentatively on 6 Aug 2003.
