Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR FHCC RADIOS
The purpose of this Statement of Work is the implementation of the two way radio communications APX 4000 system for the Fayetteville VA Health Care Center (HCC) at 7300 South Raeford Rd in Fayetteville NC. The select contractor or its sub-contractors shall be completing the work.
The Contractor will procure and install:
o Sixteen (16) Motorola APX4000 Portable radios for use by the VA Police
o One Motorola APX6500 VIPER (Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders) base station radio to be installed in the upper level Admin office area with local antenna
o A dual band Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) with accompanying distributed antenna system (DAS) throughout the building.
o This will enable the existing UHF radios to communicate from inside the building back to the radio equipment at Ramsey Street and to the VIPER radio system.
o One Motorola APX7550 consollette to be installed in the Command Center with two local antennas.
o Contractor services for Optimization and Installation.
o Two donor antennas for the BDA will be mounted on the exterior wall of the penthouse on provided uni-strut,
o BDA donor antenna cable will be ran through provided weather head
o Install two pairs of uni-strut to the exterior wall of the penthouse for Contractor to mount the antenna masts to
o Install a weather head in to the exterior wall of the penthouse for Contractor to install coax cable to the donor antenna
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The period of performance for the services shall begin upon receipt of a purchase order, and work shall be completed within 6 weeks of the start date. All work must be scheduled to complete within this timeframe. The needs of the Fayetteville VA and acts of God may delay the completion date. Any modifications or extensions will be requested through the Fayetteville VA and the Contractor for review and discussion. Modification and extension of completion dates will be communicated in writing via email and/or paper memorandum.
In the event that the completion date exceeds 6 weeks from the start date the Contractor shall not be assessed any liquidated damages.
