Notice of Intent to award a “Sole Source Procurement”. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order, to Sangoma Technologies Corporation, 50 McIntosh Drive, Ste 120 Markham Ontario L3R 9T3, Canada, solicitation number F25600-03-T-0099, for the following items: (CLIN 001) S5141 PCI HDLC Card, 33 Mhz, w/619 RS232 Cable (CLIN 002) S5033 ISA HDLC Card, w/ESCC Zilog Chip, 8 Mhz, (CLIN 003) Cable, 619 RS232. These modified HDLC Cards will be used to support the Strategic Automated Command Control Systems (SACCS) for the United States Strategic Command. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because changing the different cards would not be acceptable and would disrupt the system configuration management.
