NA This is a Market Survey to locate sources of supply for: PI CVC Headset. It is used with the AN/VIC-3(V), also called the Vehicular Intercommunications System (VIS). This item shall interoperate with existing AN/VIC-3(V) systems. The PI CVC headset sha ll incorporate advanced features including a Talk Through Circuit, ruggedized earcushions and boom microphone, increased reliability, and improved EMI/EMC performance. The Product Improved CVC Headset-Microphone shall allow the user to perform duplex comm unications with military intercoms installed in armored vehicles. The headset shall be compatible with the CVC ballistic shell. Performance-based technical data for the manufacture, test and acceptance of these items is available from the government. Th e source must provide with his response the performance specification, test plan and test data, as applicable, to show interchangeability and interoperability with the existing AN/VIC-3(V). The response must include documentation (e.g. test results), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply the PI CVC headset that will be form, fit and function interchangeable and interoperable with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) systems from the previous known supplier (Northrop Grumman Cor poration). The item may be considered a Commercial Item (CI) or a Non-Developmental Item (NDI). Known modifications, if any, necessary to meet Government requirements should be detailed. Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the item to b e supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government.
