The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) located at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida intends to negotiate with Raytheon Network Centric Systems, 1010 Production Road, Fort Wayne, to extend contract USZA22-00-D-0001 for the Multi-Band, Multi-Mission Radios (MBMMRs) to include Manpack System (with upgrades), Fixed Mount System (FMS) (with upgrades), various warranty periods with varying degrees of warranties, ancillary items, spare/repair parts, and non-warranty repairs. The authority cited for this procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Raytheon Network Centric Systems is the original manufacturer and the only source with the technical ability to produce and maintain (provide spares and logistics support, etc.) the MBMMR. The extension will add a one-year hardware and sustainment ordering period. This effort will raise the monetary contractual ceiling from $272.9M by $12.1M to $285M.
