The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Rotating Precision Mechanisms, 8750 Shirley Ave., Northridge, CA, 91324-3409. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the items requested. Air Traffic Control (ATC) Maintenance, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the purchase of 4 each Moving Target Indicator (MTI) Reflectors, for the Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Teams. The MTI, Model Series A170F must work with Xband 2.72.9K PMRF at 9.025; 9.125GHz and or Sband 1K PMRF at 2.7 to 2.9GHz Solar Power Module 1132301 (SB200) – HD Reflector Mounting System. The MTI will be used with AN/FPN-63 PAR radar set.The requested item is commercial in nature and will fall under the purview of commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received in a timely manner of fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
