The Government intends to issue; on an other than full and open competition basis to Raytheon Company, C3S Radios/Terminals Division, 1801 West Hughes Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833-2200, CAGE 1L3B8; a contract for three each, ELPRS Receiver Transmitter, Part Number A3006978. Delivery is FOB Destination to MCTSSA, Bldg. 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. Only one responsible source is capable of providing supplies compatible with existing fielded Marine Corps equipment (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1)). This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a request for proposal for information only will be honored. Any responsible firm that believes that it has the capability to provide the requirement may contact the referenced contract specialist or contracting officer or submit a quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quot ation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no responses are received by 27 August 2002, with an anticipated award date of 01 September 2002. to the effect that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Raytheon for the requirements stated herein.
