The U.S. Army RDECOM-Natick Contracting, in support of the U.S. Army, has a requirement for commercially available radio headsets. The Government intends this procurement to be a commercial item acquisition utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation ( FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be a full and open competitive buy. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290, small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government envisions a single purchase order for this acquisition (but reserves the right to award multiple purchase orders) . This procurement is for the purchase of 116 each x Single radio with ring PTT to PRC148 (MB ITR) radio, 136 each x Single radio with ring PTT to Sabre (XTS 5000) and 136 each x Dual radio with hand held dual radio PTT consisting of individual buttons for the radios for connection to Sabre XTS5000 and PRC-148.
