The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to Parvus Corporation for the repair of a Ruggedized Cisco 3825 Router for the Multi-vehicle Communication System (MVCS) for the LCS class ships. This purchase is not suitable for Full and Open competition for the following reasons: The original developer of MVCS selected the Parvus Corporation products based on Parvus having successfully militarized an off-the-shelf Cisco Router/Switches to meet MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-901D and MVCS minimum performance requirements.
