The Defense Media Center Contracting Office intends to award one contract based on the criteria as stated in FAR 52.212-2 herein, for three each Sony HDCAM Studio Editing Recorder Video Production Kits with digital Betacam and Mpeg IMS playback. Only one contract shall be issued. The contractor must bid on ALL items and must be quoted F.O.B. Destination. The Sony HDCAM studio system is issued under solicitation HQ0028-07-R-0035, that is to be shipped to Ft Sam Houston TX 78234. Substitutes will not be accepted based on the attached Brand Name Justification, except for the Canon HD ?? lens for XDCAM HD, Graphite Lithium-Ion Batteries, Portable 2 Channel Battery Charger for the Lithium-Ion batteries, shotgun microphone and shipping case with built in wheels by thermodyne. If you provide an or equal for these items you must provide the specification and salient characters in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220; the small business threshold is 750.
