The proposed action is for a five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for AN/PSC-5 Radio Sets, AN/PSC-5B Radio Sets, AN/PSC-5C Radio Sets, associated spare parts and the AN/PSC-5C Modification Kit. The AN/PSC-5 is an ultra high frequency, lightweight, Demand Assigned Multiple Access, manpack radio set. These radios provide line-of-sight and tactical satellite communications with embedded communications and transmission security. It weighs less than twelve pound s and operates in the 30 to 400 megahertz (MHz) frequency range. The radio provides data and voice communications. It is used to transmit intelligence information, interfaces with the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINGARS), and transmi ts/receives command-and-control information.
