This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The US Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a requirement to modify the TOCNET Contract W31P4Q-07-D-0007, to provide for period of performance (POP) extension and subsequent deliveries for an additional 9 months through 31 December 2012. This extension will serve as bridge to align this contract with the Command Post Platform (CPP) Contract, W31P4Q-04-C-0159, which was extended as of 16 August 2011. TOCNET, Contract Number W31P4Q-07-D-0007, provides the government furnished equipment to the CPP Contract. This extension will allow the Government to procure the remaining quantities on contract for Fiscal Year (FY) 12 through FY13 requirements. The TOCNET Intercommunications Systems devices are non-developmental items, proprietary commercial off the shelf systems. Pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is sole source and will be acquired through the issuance of a modification to indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Contract W31P4Q-07-D-0007 with SCI Technology, Inc., 13000 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35807. The existing contract consist of the following items: Micro Central Switching Unit (MCSU) Enhanced 16 Radio RMS, part number 5402100-001; MCSU Enhanced 8 Radio RMS, part number 5459100-001; Crew Access (CAU), part number 5402300-001; Desktop CAU Stand Assembly (includes CAU), part number 5402800-001; Soft CAU for PC/Laptop/Workstation/PDA, part number 5402500-001; and MCSU upgrade to Enhanced MSCU upgrade capability.
