The Coatesville VA Medical Center is currently is seeking a contractor to provide and install 9 automatic handicap door openers on swing type doors. Installation of operators is to include all electrical connections, battery operated push pads and handicap labeling as required by the ADA. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified/verified Small businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 238210. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $14.0 million. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Requirements Description: The contractor will provide all material, labor, and tools required to install 9 automatic handicap door openers on swing type doors. Installation of operators is to include all electrical connections, battery operated push pads and handicap labeling as required by the ADA. Buildings include: Building #1 - 1 each; Building #57 - 2 each; Building #72 - 1 each; Building #138H - 4 each; Building #58 - 1 each Submission Requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis: (1) Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (2) Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (3) Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past relevant experience and technical competence with a similar requirement. (4) A copy of SAM.GOV active registration. Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type, (Reps/Certs) (5) A statement addressing your socioeconomic status such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Hubzone, etc. If inadequate responses are received, this solicitation may be issued for full and open competition.
