The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Optogration Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis, a contract to purchase 1 each InGaAs Avalanche Photodiode Array with the following characteristics 2X2 square pixels with each pixel having an active area of 100x100 microns, optical fill factor of 75 percent or greater, low K-Factor InGaAs APD structure with K less 0.2 for gains up to 100, bandwidth of an individual pixel sufficient for 2.5 Gbps operation, 1 each Manufacture of Wafer according to the design of item 1, 5 each 2 X 2 APD arrays packaged on individual TO headers, and 5 each 2 X 2 APD arrays packaged on individual TO headers with individual transimpedance amplifiers (MAX 3724) wire bonded to each pixel with pins on the header for the DC and AC output for each amplifier.
